Your mission

As Finance & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the following management tasks run smoothly and efficiently:

  • All financial matters, including:
    o budget development and liquidity planning as well as the preparation of business plans
    o the management of accounting processes in cooperation with our external consultants
    o the payment transactions (incl. payroll), document and invoice auditing as well as debtor dunning
    o the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportings as well as tax returns
    o the support of fundraising activities
    o the liaison and correspondence with tax advisors, tax offices and banks in the day-to-day business
  • Support in (HR) back-office tasks such as checking external payrolls (incl. time recording), entries and exits, internal settlements, master data updates, office organization and the preparation of job references
  • Supporting recruiting processes as well as planning our hiring needs in order to align our company structure for future success
  • You are the contact person for general administrative tasks (office organization / communication)

  • You have (basic) knowledge of German labor law and personnel administration (payroll accounting) as well as income tax and social security law
  • Your analytical skills and experience help you to handle the day-to-day business independently
  • You have advanced knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel) and in the use of accounting software

Languages you should bring with you:

  • German
  • English
  • Spanish is a plus
